Woven with a creativity that melds the accessory fashions of the past with the present, Dedra handmade purses are extravagant yet functional works of art. Each purse requires up to 40 hours to make. The process is meticulous starting with the initial design phase, followed by intense bead loomwork, and finally handsewing a beautiful satin lining to complete the purse.
Loom  Dedra strings each bead individually on to a  loom, creating a piece of beaded fabric,  which  she carefully attaches to a satin  lining. Dedra  has mastered the process,  designing  and  constructing purses of  superb quality.	*Dedra purses come tucked in a matching protective satin bag. *Jewelry Collection purses and proposal bags do not come in a protective satin bag or with a certificate of authenticity. Protective Bag Dedra designs and constructs every purse by hand, using original and traditional patterns, emphasizing beauty and the utmost quality.

Glass Collection purses are constructed entirely of glass beads. Seed beads are the predominant size bead used in the collection. Bugle bead and pebble glass bead purses are also popular choices. The top of the purses vary in style from a fold-over closure flap to a simple pocket closure. An assortment of sizes is available.
Frame Collection purses feature a metal purse frame and chain strap. Decorative vintage and contemporary frames are used. Vintage frames add a one-of-a-kind uniqueness that is reminiscent of an earlier era, whereas modern frames bring a contemporary flare to the piece.
Wrist Collection purses are petite bags that are designed for the minimalist socialite who requires only a credit card, Identification, and a lipstick. The purses are fashionably worn on the wrist, freeing the hands.
Jewelry Collection necklaces come in six different styles named after royalty titles: Empress, Queen, Princess, Duchess, Countess, and Baroness. The necklaces match many of the full-sized purses and matching earrings are also available. Miniature purses meant to present a gift of jewelry can additionally be found in this collection.
Wedding Collection bags are created to add to the magic of an engagement and wedding. The collection includes full-sized bridal purses and miniature proposal bags designed to present an engagement ring in style. The recipient of a proposal bag will instantly know there is something special awaiting them inside.

In addition to designing, Dedra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, four Associate degrees, and is pursuing her Doctor of Pharmacy. She began designing purses as a hobby when her mother gave her a sack of beads saved from a tattered vintage purse. With the beads, Dedra created a small purse for her mother without any means of instruction. Dedra mastered the art of purse and jewelry making, eventually launching her business accessorizing the social and fashionably elite. She emphasizes high quality and uniqueness in her designs.
